It is now 30 years since the Moulin du Gastronome, founded by Sylvie and Philippe Goineau in 1989, first set down roots in the heart of the Mâcon area, from where it continues to draw inspiration. The restaurant first opened at “Croix Blanche”, in Berzé-la-Ville, before finding a permanent home in a 19th century building in Charnay-lès-Mâcon, beside the road to Cluny.
In 2016, Mathieu Fauquembergue and Yannick Cornu took over the house, with a remit to perpetuate the sincere welcome and cuisine for which the house is renowned.
